I’m a web design + branding artist with a fine arts background. With a Bachelor of Arts in Ceramics, an artistic eye for design is at the heart of my approach. Paired with my Associates degree in Digital Technology, you might be able to envision how I landed myself a career in creating artfully designed, state-of-the-art websites, for people just like you! To me, each website is a work of art, from the layout, to color balance, to imagery. By adding in business strategy and technical know-how I’m then able to make your site not only look great, but function and perform flawlessly as well!
Art in Everyday Life
My design work is informed my nearly two decades of working as a ceramic artist. I focused on hand crafted items for the home and garden.
Over the years, I explored different clay bodies, glazes, and forms, but utilitarian wares were at the core of my work. My work was intended to be used and enjoyed on a daily basis. Mugs, bowls, plates, and trays for the kitchen as well as planters.
My surface decoration focuses on texture. Often I imprint actual flowers and plants directly into the clay.
Gardener + Crafter + Schnauzer Lover
In addition to designing and building websites and brands, I am a passionate gardener and houseplant mama. I am happiest when surrounded by plants. For many years, my husband and I maintained an enormous backyard garden. We grew and preserved our vegetable harvests.
A crafter at heart, I love all things handmade. Knitting, natural plant dye, eco printing, and watercolor painting. I prefer a slower pace in this hectic world and find sanctuary in home.
